it's all about meeeeeee!
2017 Update!
Welcome to my website! One stop shopping. Have some fun and click around. I have three demo reels, two comedy and one episodic, a trailer from a crazy movie I did called Nothing But the Truth, Monique’s a short film that is suddenly winning all sorts of International film fests, excerpts from a pilot Sidetracked I just shot, a fun backstage view of Prisoner of Second Avenue that I did with Jason Alexander and Gina Hecht and a stage promo for my ongoing saga with the one woman epic Shirley Valentine in a performance at the Laguna Playhouse.Click here if you want to hear some v/o stuff… but don’t forget the stage portion with reviews and photos of which I am most giddy about. The gallery is ridiculous…I’ll weed that out next year. Maybe. At the bottom are some Industry referrals. If you make it that far I’ll buy you a drink.
Thanks for visiting, ya’ll come back now!
2017- 2019 Update!
Helloooooo out there! Here is a long overdue update; 2017 was kind of a quiet year, I did a fun guest spot on “Famous in Love”, boy did I feel old. A highlight: After the shoot was over I was in my trailer preparing to go home when one of the regular directors for the show came a knocking on my door. He wanted to meet me and thank me for my years of service to the Industry! He knew my grandfathers’ (Otto Kruger) work and was a fan and was also a fan of my father’s as well (cinematographer Gayne Rescher) and he even knew of my paternal grandfather’s role in founding the first photographers union. He sweetly categorized me as “Hollywood Royalty” and it made the entire adventure worth its beans!
Filled out the year with the final episodes of the (recently released in April 2019) made for PlayStation 4 video game “Days Gone” playing Ada Tucker. It was such fun and a whole new learning curve doing motion capture. Loved working the genre!
2018 was a sucky year. I was diagnosed with Tongue Cancer, so pretty much the entire year was the ongoing battle. I am happy to say I am now completely Cancer free and feeling great. You never think it is going to happen to you and when it does, as unthinkable as it all is, you just do what you have to do and survive it! DONE!
I started 2019 with a bang! I had a complete blast at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura doing David Lindsey-Abaire’s "Fuddy Meers" under the direction of Jenny Sullivan. I played “Gert”, the stroke stricken mother to Precious Chong’s “Claire”. I joked with everyone that that was the only ailment I hadn’t had! Oh, I know it’s nothing to joke about, but one must make light of it all when one can. It was hilariously fun with the amazing cast of Chong, Joseph Fuqua, Stephen Caffrey, Seryozha Laporte and Tracey Leigh. I plan to spend the rest of the year with Keith playing on our boat and happily cashing my social security checks.
Have a wonderful 2019 and we’ll see you in 2020!

Feb 2016 Update!
Had a whole lot of fun in 2015 involving many projects, including Disney’s teen show I Didn't Do It !, while continuing to voice Ms. Scullnick for Disney’s popular cartoon Star Vs. The Forces of Evil. Had a super fun gig at my old homing ground, The Laguna Playhouse to perform ;Love Loss and What I Wore by Nora and Delia Ephron, directed by the one and only Jenny Sullivan! Was asked to repeat that performance at the Anaheim Women’s Journey Conference, which was fun and I added some other charity benefits’ by bringing some of my choreographic and dance abilities (at this age I should call them disabilities) to the Athletic Association of America’s annual event hosted by my own sister, Gaye Kruger.
The pilot I shot Sidetracked (there is a copy under my videos below if you are curious) premiered to thunderous and exhilarating response and the short film I was privileged to star in, Monique's directed by Francesca Penzani has finally come out and is being accepted Internationally at Film festivals (a copy of that is also below if you care). .
Laguna Playhouse asked me to do a reading of a wonderful new play by Lojo Simon JOY VEY, and there is talk of more of that to come. My final expedition for the year was up to Santa Barbara’s Ensemble Theater Company’s West Coast premiere of a hilarious new farce Women In Jeopardy written by Wendy MacLeod and directed by the fabulous Bart DeLorenzo.
In between all this I’ve been having a blast with my cuter than anything boyfriend Keith, boating on his “yacht” in the summer and skiing from his cabin home in the mountains in the winter. Good Lord; life is grand! What can I say? Aren’t these web sites supposed to be narcissistic?
If that isn’t enough (TMI?) information for ya, click here. I have no idea who finds and posts this stuff, but IMDB seems to remember way more about me than I do!
Cheers!
Recaps!
2014: A lovely run in Santa Barbara where I took the stage again in David Lindsay’s- Abaire’s Good People at the Ensemble Theatre Company, under the direction of the super awesome Jenny Sullivan - mid run on that show I booked a nice little guest star on TV Land’s The Exe’s, and continued voicing Disney’s Star vs. the Forces of Evil. The fall was very busy shooting a Pilot; Sidetracked by E.D Brown and an Indie; Ditch Party by Richard Meese. Then a really nice surprise gig in NYC on the (now sadly canceled) romance comedy Manhattan Love Story. I stayed on the East Coast and partied with old friends for 2 weeks and then hurried home to shoot an episode of Anger Management with Charlie Sheen.
2013: Brought a nice guest starring TV gig, in a hilarious role with James Caan on the sitcom for ABC; Back in the Game, then a juicy little recurring role on Days of Our lives and a recurring (super fun!) voice role on Disney’s just released series; Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
2012: Was spent on a regional tour with the hit Broadway play Lombardi, under the amazing direction of Cayce Stangl. It’s the story of the famed football coach Vince Lombardi; I played Marie, Vince’s wife. A truly awesome run with an amazing company.
Once home from tour, I took a quick breath and then jumped on stage again at Garry Marshall’s Falcon Theater in Burbank with my recurring version of the one woman epic of Shirley Valentine directed by the outstanding task master and my dear friend, Andy Barnicle.
